It is just this attitude and mentality that business thrives on to keep the workers in hand.
Fear is there most powerfull weapon in keeping workers in check. And to drive down costs drag in the nearest 3rd world worker to break the spirit of those who would gain.
IT is in dire need of a voice and unionizing would give us that voice.
We all have thought that our accomplishments will support us against the business operators. Keep thinking that and watch you job walk out the door or worse you walk out the door and look in at the H1B visa sitting at your desk.
It is not entirely the governments fault. As with any business the path to responsibley serving the customer is greased only by how much this will increase the profit of the business concerned. In other words to keep costs down and profits high, new technical improvements to supply must increase sales and not drive down the profit.

Your right, the only thing that is needed is retroactive birth control.

They are more into filling there own pockets than advancing science... They will pander to China and India and China will end up owning the US.
