Those steps would reduce the number of deaths to passengers, other drivers, and pedestrians or bystanders. I would support ignition interlock devices on all vehicles if such a technology could be developed that was not obtrusive to non-drinkers. The 292 fatalities for back-up related crashes is a minuscule amount compared to the number of DWI-related deaths.
