If an IT manager stumbles on to a Linux box on the network that he's never noticed before then is it really worth the extra effort to change it?
I realize some companies have rules about this sort of thing, but maybe it'd take someone being surprised to learn they are really using Linux to get them to wake up to the possibility of using Linux as a viable alternative.
I've taken my laptop, zip disks, floppies, etc, went through numerous x-rays in numerous cities. They are all just fine. I think that this computer would be just fine! I've never had a problem. steve mylinux.crontab.org
I agree with this to a point. PDF is great, as far as what it contains and how it looks. But it is way too slow! I can't handle waiting for my PDF viewer on my 333mhz with 32ram. I can't even imagine trying it on anything slower!
