On: Same Dev Tools/Language/Framework For Everyone?

This kind of management makes me ill. It's another manifestation of the "every employee is an identical warm body" school of thought.

Believing that something good, overall, will come of forcing every developer to use the same tools emphatically proves that said management should not be involved with software development in the first place.
