I am an iiNet customer and I'm surprised that more people have not voiced opposition to even trialling the technology. I think we are embarking on a very slippery slope.
Politicians will spin this trial the way they want, regardless of the outcome. If they don't get results, I'm sure they'll water the filter down and tweak it until they get the numbers they're after.
After that, it's just a matter of "scope creep" whereby we trial one thing, and end up with something completely different.
Also, I'm not happy that my soho connection that I rely on for business could be affected. I'd rather the government play with it's own internet connection, not mine.
