If it's dead to you, what do you care about how the rest of us think about it?
Other people having some interest about it won't probably damage your life, so leave them alone without trying to convert them to your opinion. (which you are perfectly free to have, of course.)
I don't believe very much to the future of Amiga myself, but I'm rather tired seeing every discussion about it being filled with comments like "It's dead, drop it". It's just as futile as shouting "IT WILL RISE AND KILL EVERYTHING ELSE YEAAH"...
Ah, the NDA strikes again.;) Too bad, it would probably been interesting.
The image I got as one of great public was pretty silent and declining, but all the better if something happened behind the smokescreen and comes eventually out...

Gateway wasn't doing much anything. Sure, at first they promised a lot, but as time passed, their promises turned to smaller and smaller ones. They did some good things, but really nothing much in the last few months. (At least nothing that escaped to the public...) Amino is more promising than Gareway in some ways; the staff includes people with real Amiga background and delication. They don't have as much money and power, but things couldn't really turn much worse, could they? (I don't agree with the superiority issue; AmigaOS was really good even 5 years ago, but now it's badly behind the times. But I hope that developement continues beyond the 3.5, which was more like a bugfix and face-lift than a real big update.)

Somehow the picture smells like Lightwave or Imagine.
