Are there any efforts under way to target arterial, and other, plaques, and remove them?
More specifically, has anyone tried 'painting' plaques with a chemical that the body's own scavanger system has been sensitised to in order thay they can target plaques for removal?
Heart desease is a major killer, and something like this seems a good research topic with many benefits for everyone. Plaques, in general, are a major bane in later life.
In a related question, does chelation therapy, in your opinion, work? Oral, or intravenous?
