Opera gets around the 'interpretive code' restriction for standard browsing by actually running the browser server side, and serving the webpage as marked up images back to the iphone. I'm curious if this is restricted to the US App Store, given the restrictions around the Kindle itself.
No matter what type of hard-for-computers-to-crack system is used, it will be vulnerable to the mechanical-turk type service of decapther.com.
