This technology is incompatible with sharks.

FTFA: The latter could be used for homeland security and environmental monitoring applications.

Sorry, they're going to use this to find your sharks. Study this and develop some defense for your poor, cute, cuddly little sharks.

The only folks who are going to sue are those American hating liberals that are against freedom! Those stupid freedom hating liberals are always hiding behind the Bill of Rights and always trying to undermine our fight for freedom against the Terrorists and Muslims. Why, if you're doing nothing wrong, then you have nothing to worry about.

These liberals are just using this as an excuse to keep the loophole in the law so that they can accuse the Government of spying (yet another conspiracy theory!) and get rich! That's why all of the liberal leaning states are the wealthiest in the country - they sue innocent corporations! That's why the Trial Lawyers support the Liberal Democrats! They're trying to destroy our Republic, Capitalism, and the American way!

Then, they have the stupidity to try to ban our guns! They use the "Civil Liberties" as a screen but when it comes to the freedom to bare arms, do they fight for that? Nooooooo! We should put the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights! Then those Liberals will fight for it!

    Sincerely,

Average American who is educated by TV and Radio.

I lived in Beijing until last month for several years. The reports of poor air quality are vastly exaggerated. It does get bad occasionally usually due to sand storms (they're bad), but it's not often, IMO.

but this will put even more demand on forests and the farming of trees - they grow too slow to keep up with the potential demand of these products (Just think of how many electronic devices are made and you know that disposable ones are going to sell like hotcakes!).

What they really need to do is use something very common; like, I don't know, sand. That's assuming they can come up with the technology. I know, I know. I'm dreaming.

Of course they store user wishlists in a db, but they're rich, there's no way anyone would go after them first...

Just think, Amazon sued over the One-Click Buying patent ten years ago. Wouldn't it be bad karma, poetic justice, or Ironic if they were in fact sued over this?

New Jersey, Northumberland, New Brunswick, Canada This is an article from Canada after all.

I'm taking it as a very clever form of satire: confusing New Jersey as a state versus a city; confusing Canada with England.

I mean, it's pretty obvious that it's a Canadian article because it's in English and Canada is the only state in the Union that speaks English.

  8. That's right. And to add.... on How To Encourage a Young Teen To Learn Programming? · · Score: 1
I would encourage him towards art, music, dance, sports, etc... Things that will allow him or to meet people, especially of the opposite sex. Those subjects help them develop social skills and build confidence. And by learning as a younger person, there's a good chance they'll become good at it.

Programming is a pure intellectual pursuit and can be learned at anytime.

If I could go back into time, I would have spent more time on those artsy and sports subjects instead of locking myself away with my computer code. I grew up to be a lonely and shy person, while the concert pianists, dancers, and athletes had plenty of friends, partners, and much more success in life in general - all because they were much more easy around people.

P.S. Many of those "dumb" jocks I went to school with are now Drs. and Lawyers and engineers; married to wonderful women and have a family.
