When they did this to Microsoft there was no mention. When they do it to apple everyone whines. I noticed a post where someone proclaimed that they gave money to the FSF but because of this they are going to stop. That person is a hypocrite.
I think the FSF does a lot of bad things and this is just one in a long line (that doesn't support open source). Apple and Microsoft are partners in crime as far as proprietary software is concerned but when it's apple the fan boys come rolling on out.
