hmm, in the wolverine Origin miniseries, it shows him having the bone claws as part of his mutation.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolverine_(comics) look under "powers and abilities." I guess they changed their minds about wether the claws were there before or after the weapon x program..
I'm excited that a movie is coming out about Wolvie finally! BUT i wish they did the origins that goes all the way back to his childhood and him becomeing wolverine.. so full of angst and trauma.. the developement of logan as we know him. (course there would be comparisions then TDK but itd be totally worth it)
This is still cool but yet they had to change the story line as Daswolfen mentioned above.. I think the problem is Marvel is getting more lax with every movie they release about sticking to the original story.. case in point, x-men 1 to 3.. they go from cool with some timeline desprepancies and wardrobe changes to complete and utter bull..
I think Hugh Jackman makes a good Wolverine and the movie does look cool, so heh i will totally go watch _in_ the theatre opening night.
oooh heheh good explanation, they use memory loss a lot to explain all sorts of wolvie paradoxes

nah he has claws, they're all bone, he doesn't get adamantium on them until the expirements that they're supposed to cover in this upcoming movie..
