Right, and not only the certification, in practical terms it's closer to GNU/Linux than any other UNIX i've worked on during the last 20 years, shall I believe that Linux is also pretending? Or where is the difference? X11? what does it has to do with UNIX? anyway OS X supports it.

couldn't find which bands are being used for that, but hope that or the whole thing is a flop or that it stays away from the 2.4GHz / 5GHz bands reserved for Wi-Fi + bluetooth, ... where I live collisions/lost packets are unfortunately a reality and it's not even possible to reliably stream music via WiFi (eg. airtunes)

    It's theft!

worse than pickpocketing, it is extremely eco-unfriendly. generating energy at the expense of an inefficient generator powered by very inefficient mechanical energy sources (cars) fueled by petrol makes no (environmental) sense at all... errr... maybe unless they are expecting an earthquake.

Mandelbrot and Nassim Taleb have been writing for the last few years about the misapplication of models in financial markers... things were understood but people like Chuck Prince preferred to keep dancing... what makes some sense as it was the fun that shareholders were paying for and that politicians were in need of, right?
