I'm sick and tired of people saying Beta was better. It wasn't.

The problem is that girls can't do math! So you may get some girls passing themselves off as "HTML PROGRAMMERS" but they'll never be able to handle the heavy stuff. I work in a "famous" R&D lab, and there are very few women here. And I remember my old college days--women all dropped out of EVERY math class within the third or fourth session. UNTIL WOMEN CAN DO MATH, there's no hope for them in high-tech geek postions.
Novell Netware just doesn't matter anymore. I can't imagine what they'll accomplish by trying to attack Win2K. They certainly aren't a viable alternative to it. Everywhere I've been the past few years has been using Unix + Samba for network file storage from PCs!
Of course, maybe I can make some money selling "Lock Up Kevin" bumper stickers! I'm sure that not everyone loves him. It would have been nice if he and Patrick Naughton could have shared a cell for 30 years.
Yahoo usually leaves parodies alone like _Yahoot_ (http://www.yahoot.com/) but draws the line at sites that try to capitalize on Yahoot's name for a serious purpose (like Yahooka).

And do you know why I love them? Because I take pictures of the AUDIENCE and use them for my Who's a Dork Today website! Lot's of good fodder here. (My other favorite place is LinuxWorld!)
I wonder what Disney's feeling after it's failed attempt to combine media and internet with their GO network. (Remember that? They bought Starwave and their pedophile CTO Patrick Naughton last year). Will Yahoo buy Disney? ----
I'm afraid of this, too. It changes the landscape entirely for media companies. Also, if the Internet hoopla dies down, how will that leave all the assests that Time Warner ownes.
