Harmonix has indeed come a long way from their initial release, Frequency which was an EXCELLENT music game. This game actually sparked my interest in electronic music.
Frequency was a great example of a killer concept that quite didn't catch on (even though they did make a sequel!), so indeed it was a long road, and although I wish they had continued expanding the Frequency game line as they have the guitar hero, i'm glad they found success for their innovation!
