I for one would be first in line for one if there ever was such a protest. I am sure to be the extreme minority, but the benefits of a nuclear power plant far outweigh any of the downsides I could come up with. The job creation at the site would be enough for me to support one coming to my city. A lot of industries are dangerous (ie, chemical plants, oil refineries) and have ways of managing the risk to the local population as well as legislation to prevent unsafe operation of the facility.

I would happily send a few bucks for them to pay for their legal fees. As well as if they are not acquitted I would send them some cash to pay the fine.

What would you say if a Muslim ran for President, and publicly said that he wanted to pass a law requiring all non-Muslims to pay "tribute", and he wanted to make Sharia Law the national law? Would you say "his religion shouldn't matter?" That would be rather idiotic when his religious beliefs could impact us all in a very big way.

It would not be the religion I would be putting into question as I would have to put into question his policies compared to the constitution (Bill of rights and freedoms in Canada)and would reject any policy that went against those fundamental rights. I believe very strongly in Freedom OF and FROM religion as well as separation of church and state.

no drop in speed, no indication you're approaching any limit, and no consequence of passing the limit. You won't know anything until you get the next bill or your connection is terminated.

I live in Ontario and have Rogers. When I get close to my limit (75% of limit) it displays a banner telling me so.
