This kind of reminds me of the AD&D campaign world Planescape and the Blood War. Essentially, all the creatures of Baator (the Lawful Evil outer plane) and the Abyss (the Chaotic Evil outer plane) are in an eternal war with each other. No one from any other plane wants either party to win, because once one of them does, there's nothing to hold them in check anymore, and who knows who they'll go after next?
I'm not saying either company is evil (I'm sure there's enough people here to give opinions on that), but do we want either one to win?
