It's an obvious product, and animated characters make much more sense than human ones when you consider $$$ to be made... they are practically immortal, limited only by the timespan of humanity's interest with the character. They still disturb me, though... echoes of B.B. that stir my faint Neo-Luddite tendencies. Dunno..
