Isn't it sad that in order to get "Enhanced" support you have to pay more. Thats almost an insult to overseas labor because they are basically saying that USA support is "Enhanced".....what does that make everyone else?
This is an excellent point. Offshore labor is why I cant understand tech support anymore. I would rather pay a get more for the product to ensure I get good customer support.
If by flagship you mean Titanic, then yes. It sank very well. Besides even employees of Microsoft are ashamed to use it. And on top of that there biggest reseller (Dell); their CEO wont even use Microsoft.
The reason its not on the front page is because why push a product no one likes when you are about to come out with an even bigger disappointment (Windows 7)?
"One could very well ask FOSS the same question. Any takers?"
You can ask but I guarantee you that FOSS has more original ideas then Microsoft.
"Like Apple?"
Apple at least embraces the open source community and plays an active role in it.
Why is it that Microsoft has no original ideas of their own? Have you ever noticed that whenever Microsoft puts out a new product/service/concept there is substantial proof that it has already been done by someone else? The worse part of this whole thing is, Microsoft convinces the public that their idea is something new!!! Whats wrong with all the Sheeple!!!

I agree with you there, Ballmer is not the man for the job.
