If it is that much better, why arent they just replacing Firefox with it??

I used to work in customer service for a fairly large e-commerce outsourcing company. We broke the TOS's given on our websites daily. The terms of service were basically thought of as best practices. If you wouldnt break them, you wouldnt be there for more than a day, but most employees never even read them.
From what I read, it takes your picture then would scan against those who have been deemed as not being allowed to cross the border/fly. Unless you were mauled by a bear who cut up your face to the point that you looked exactly like a known terrorist, you wouldnt be stopped. This is not an authentication system (you are who you say you are) its something else that checks to see if you are a person on this specific list.

I have never known a cell phone not to have this issue. Perfect example of non-news.
