Totally agree. I did the same thing, got it as a bluray player, had no idea you could stream so many services. I've got Netflix and Amazon Streaming. After setup both are easy to use with lots of content.
The problem with being King the Hill is that someone is always trying to take you down. Maybe if MS adhered to w3 standards a little closer, they could slow the bleeding. But no entity can hold that large of a stake indefinitely.
As President-elect Obama made clear in his acceptance speech last night, this is an opportunity for change. Lead, follow or get out of the way.
Time to move on.
