    please don't forget that good security starts at home. make sure that your border/edge routers have those types of acl's in place; further you might check the rule set on your firewall to ensure that it has it's antispoofing capabilities turned on. "don't rely on the kindness of strangers"

    me too also... keeping to the philosophy and goals of the open source system is only right. using and promoting the use of LINUX....

    It is only natural for Linux to be compared to the established way of doing business but the comparison doesn't have to take on the taint of commercialism. We have spoiled too many things in our lives. Let Linux develop at its own pace and let it survive in the world based on its own merits. Us v. Them attitudes are not healthy. Why can't their be more than one choice for an OS or office suite or web browser? Competition can be healthy and productive to our society. Let's not spoil the basic premis of why we all like and support Linux in the first place...

    Chinese colonization of the moon or maybe mars is not as unlikely as it may first appear. They are rapidly running out of realestate here on earth and stand to gain no more unless by force. Which could be opposed by a number of nations. Why not take the funding for the war machine and turn it into exploration/colonization of unclaimed land masses? hmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!

    As if the world wasn't noisy enough. Now just about everyone who "wants to" will add to the random noise that saturates the airwaves. Special interest groups will be able to draw more and more attention to themselves (right, wrong, or, indifferent). What's the matter with quiet?
