I'm not a lawyer, and I don't play one on TV. But this seems like a good thread to post case law if you are a lawyer, or play one on DVD.
Some of this sounds more like "illegal tying" to force people to use particular playback technology for which royalties may be paid independent from those paid for the movies themselves. Also, what if somebody just doesn't want open source or Unix users to be able to play DVDs. Could that be an "illegal boycott."
Snail has the whole week-end to get there by
Monday or Tueseday. Nobody will read E-mail until
