Why should it?
Linux is there as an alternative to users. You choose to use it or not. It is your problem if you want to pay OS licenses or not. Open Source in general is all about choices.
I personally would love if people used Linux (any of the distros) more, but if you don't want to, that's fine. We will continue to work and try to make it better for people that appreciate a damn awesome OS.
