This sudden crazy over Sorny's "Household" robots led me to do some research. Turns out that there were robots with simular levels of functionality being developed right here in the US by Quasar in the 50-60's. I am currently writing a detailed article about this that will appear in the Feb. issue of the 'Fish with a detail of my findings, and theories of why it was stopped. If you're interested I can post some of the images of these Quasar machines......
