Pervasive, the company that previously brought Btreieve, provides commercial support for PostgreSql 8.0. I believe, this is the first "database" company that provides support. You can find the news at http://www.pervasive-postgres.com/
Hopefully, this should enable penetration of postgres into more established enterprises.
Disclaimer: I submitted the story before and it was rejected.
There are two independent issues:One is a ethical issue. Is it morally right to attack (it is attacking, irrespective of defensive or offensive reasons) somebody else's machine?
The second one is a legal issue. Does the attacked person(both sides) has any legal recourse? Do they have any credible claims for damage?
Vigilante justice, at best is stupid and at worst, can lead to a more dangerous society than one without.

No, OSI does not own trademark 'Open source'. So you whole argument falls through. OS trademark is owned by Software in Public Interest.
You can not even browse web cuz you are downloading text from the webserver to your mcahine and have a video display connected to it. HTML pages are video too.
This is true in atlanta too where Bellsouth offers ADSL service. They support only intel machines with Windoze or macs with macos. They refused to give me service when I said I ran Linux.

From then on, it is mostly whom you know. Most of the job offers I have got is through my contacts. Having you name known also helps.
So concentrate on learning, write articles, code for projects so that you name shows up on google and you should be set

Back to dual boot....
The whole thing remainds me of Three men in a boat, laughing all the time. It makes a nice comic article.
