I agree, it's not necesarily the change thats the big deal, its the starting from scratch. Many installations have been there for such a long time that if you had to format and reinstall from scrach the SAME OS, you could never get it back the same again.
I don't know if this is attributed to a lack of common sense or what, but what is wrong with some of you? If you are going to try to say something orignal about mambox, how hard is it to:
Change your viewing mode to flat.
Search the page for "mambox"
See that 17 people have already said the same thing.
So you WANT to see the destruction of Microsoft? Great - then who will take over? There is no other OS out there as used as Windows - and the average user isn't going to be looking for Linux! I guess MS's demise will save Apple.
The average user? Thats bullshit. The average user doesn't go looking for windows, they go looking for a computer. The average user doesn't go looking for ie, they go looking for a web browser. The average user doesn't look for msword, they look for whatever word processor they can find. When the average user buys an iMac they didn't go looking for an alternative os, they just liked the colors. I looked for linux because I didnt like what I saw anywhere else.
Exactly how much resources does each VM get? Running linux 41000 times with 25mhz, 4M of ram and 100M of disk space wont do you much good as a web server. Then again I have absolutely no idea how much fits in one of these things.
Anyone try the PPC version? Do you have to install this or can you "borrow" someones mac? How does this compare to QNX? I would hope it has at least telnet, and the ability to run remote X apps.
