When I used to teach a technology class for a local catholic grade school. I found a great program that was developed by the folks at Carnagie Mellon. It's called Alice. The kids find it quite engaging, And its free. Now it has changed a little since I first used it about 7 years ago, but check it out. It may be worth looking into. go to:
