Microsoft actually makes a compelling suite of products that, while not free, get the job done as advertised and are far cheaper than any of the other enterprise solutions out there (e.g. IBM). With their products I can deliver better results in less time. I don't want to be l33t, I just want to get the job done.
Or at least we need those brilliant coders to take the ball that last 10 yards and not stop when the product hits the "functional" stage. Functional and usable are not the same thing.
