The Jennishow was the best thing about the whole Jennican phenomenon. Viewer mail was great fun, the new car, the cooking show, and going to meet her family was just surreal. It made Jenni "real" in a way that the cam never did. Lots of good stuff was on "The Sync" in those days, but nothing came close to The Jennishow.
I got a 2Ghz Dell PC with XP Pro, plus a gig of RAM and a 120 gig hard drive for about $500. I use MS Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac (free). Add a hub and voila! Windows on Mac 12" Powerbook with no pesky emulation lag.
It ain't $100, but if you already spent the money for a Mac...
All of the ones in Asia are. I do unix support for the Asian branch of a US financial firm, so I work all of OUR holidays. And, since Japan and Hong Kong have different holidays, I get to work theirs, too!
Please allow me to refer you to this story in the LA Times (found through NTK.net) about grannies trading needlepoint patterns. Don't tell them there is a generation gap!
