Thanks for telling us what the acronym means, but now can you explain what the hell "Service Oriented Architecture" is?
Stupid jargon and consultant-driven catchphrases are a big part of why I left technology as a career and went into the fine arts and academia.
I've never regretted the decision, and judging from the tone of many slashdot comments, it was a very healthy move.
Don't tell me that. I just dropped 3 Gs on a Digidesign 003 deck for my DAW.
Actually, maybe Firewire is dead, but I'm betting IEEE 1394 will have a long productive life, at least in my studio.
I do enjoy people who pronounce the death of a particular technology, usually with their index finger pointing skyward and in a deep basso profundo.
Shitfire, I still know people who are getting work done on Nubus Macs.
Linux runs on a whole lot more computers than Windows 7 ever will.
I don't think you mean in real numbers.
I would bet that Windows 7 will run on many more computers than Linux ever will. I'm not saying that's a good thing, just that it's so.
Can we have the name of the person who downloaded the "serial key generator" and found this trojan?
What did it claim to generate a serial key for, Duke Nukem vs Predator 2?
Ray Kurzwiel said, in a 1997 Wired Magazine interview, that I would write this comment in early 2009.
At least that's what the interviewer thinks he said. His speech was somewhat impaired because of the large handful of phyto-nutrients and HGH precursors he was trying to swallow at the time.
