yahoo! uses png's in the site they did for the major league baseball player's associtaion on their player profile pages (the ugly graph on the right): barry bonds profile
Unless IE (for Windows) supports it right, no one will ever use it for the web.
it seems to work for me on my win2k box running ie6. maybe it doesn't work too well when some of the more advanced png features are used (e.g., 24-bit transparancy).
