or kids toys must not be depicted doing something they can't, ie, you can't have an airplane flying on its own unless it can do that in reality, if it can't you have to be able to see a hand holding it.
The difference with Slashdot between other media outlets is that Slashdot doesn't dare mention the damage to the music industry.
No the difference is that other media outlets simply are microphone holders for the RIAA, while Slashdot points out that there is no credible proof that this has done any damage to the music industry, quite the contrary actually.

In fact i think we have reached a point there the technical stuff can no longer impress, it has to be the content that impresses because by now the impression is: You can do anything in a movie - of course with regards to hollywood the only exception to that rule seems to be writing a decent script.
I believe he's explained this discrepancy elsewhere as being due to the car being removed by someone else and him not being told until after the FOTR:EE DVD had been done.
