One thing that I've seen in this whole mess about Card is that people love his books but hate him as a person. That's because he's a good author, who keeps his (unpopular) opinions out of his works (for the most part). I don't agree with his opinions, but that wont stop me from seeing his best work finally make it to the big screen.
