The way you cook rice seems awfully complicated. I just pour some rice in a pot and then add water and a pinch of salt and heat it on max until it starts boiling than put the lid on and set the stove to it's minumum setting for about 20 minutes and then is done.

This press release may contain forward-looking statements. Investors are cautioned that such forward-looking statements involve risks and uncertainties, including, without limitation, financing, completion of technology development, product demand, competition, and other risks and uncertainties. I guess it's a standard clausule in a pressrelease but still I think they rely on it to get some free cash since this just can't work.

I dunno but the last time i tried to install a printer in windows this happend...

Computer in running, Plug in power to printer, plug in lpt cable, a small icon pops up in the traybar and then dissapeares, I think hmmm, fire up notepad and type heheheh and try to print, wallaahhh it works, no need for me to bother wiht anything than plugging in the cords,

this was with winXPhome and a standard HP laserjet printer and That's how I'd like a setup to be like, ah perhaps a popup with printer detected use it or not or something would be nice tooo....

On most harddrives you can use a softbios in the harddrive, on my fileserver I used that to get a 6.4 gig drive to work when the comp only took 512 mb.
Since I installed that everything has worket perfectly so I see no problem to use a drive up to the 137 meg boundary on an old comp.

  5. Re:Uhm, ya. on What's The Best Combo DVD/VCD/CD/MP3 Player? · · Score: 1

I use my dell p2-350 to play divx and stuff through a GF2MX card with tv-out through a old vcr that converts the audio and video that comes from the computer to a nice antenna signal that I draw to my MONO tv 28". It works greate for playing DivX. DVD would be easy to implement by buying a dvd-drive but I've never gotten around to it. I feel the quality loss by using the vcr is neglegiable since the tv sux anyway. The computer is in another room so the fan sound doesn't disturb anyting. And it's not that hard to start playing a movie. Just hit play and maximize the movie player and run to the tv. I like this solution a lot. Mayby if I buy a better TV and some surround speakers. A dvd-stand alone player would become interesting. But since most of the other homeentertainment components in my home are quite bad why bother?

  6. We have something like this in Sweden on Tax-Free PC's in Pennsylvania · · Score: 1

About a year ago the government in Sweden decided that to increase PC-usage in sweden we had to reduce prices. The consept works like this. The employers lease PCs to their employees for three years. Instad of paying cash for this to the employers the ammount of mony is drawn from the salery befor tax. this gives a downcut by 20 to 60 % depending on the tax you pay. It also reduces the "arbetsgivaravgiften" that the employers pays becouse he doesn't have to pay as much salery. This gives another 20 % discount. The ammount that is drawn from your salery is quite small so that the diffrnce in the wallet is about 15 $ a mounth. This caused a lot of people to buy PCs and after this the PC-market has inflated becouse almost nobody needs to buy a pc.
