    You must not have to deal with IE10 on a daily basis. It's missing features from dev tools that make developers' lives easier, especially on Javascript heavy web platforms like Sharepoint. It was finally decided in IE11 that making improvements to the dev tools could be done without having to upgrade the browser which is ludicrous.

    It has in the UK pretty much although Margaret Thatcher tried her best to bring back slums by selling off all the social housing. Our NHS may not be perfect but when I get sick my first thought is to go to the doctor not to check if I've got enough saved to pay the insurance excess.

    I'm nearly 44 and I migrated away from COBOL 10 years ago. I don't know where all these mythical COBOL jobs are - I get an email every few months from a recruiter but I get several emails a day for jobs requiring my current skills.

    You'd prefer working 18 hours a day in all weathers and dying of exhaustion at 43 if you're lucky enough not to die of starvation or disease first. Some people really don't realise how good they've got it.

    Depends. If you're happy that nothing bad will ever happen to you then carry on believing in Libertaria. Me I'll rely on the fact that I will get treatment when I'm sick and won't starve if I am no longer able to work through no fault of my own.

    You might argue that the private sector can do that but you have to justify yourself to them much more than to a state health care system.

    Fight the bad laws and the bad actors for sure but the reason that you and I are amongst the safest humans in history is largely due to a strong government system.
