Like I said later in the part you did not quote, Im pretty sure the Colonel was full of shit. More likely it was that he had no other explanation for the high tech missile guidance systems of his time. "I don't understand it, so it must be alien" type of thing.
No. Im saying that there are nutjobs out there. Look at some of Lloyd Pye's videos on Youtube (the dude who made up the Starchild skull theory). He believes in yetis/bigfoot/sasquatch/abominable-snowman/crop-circles/ufos/alien-abductions/alien-origins/alien-conspiracy/etc. Worse yet, he actually has a theory that somehow connects crypto-zoology with ufology and throws in a big serving of paranormality. Its all based around the "Starchild Skull" and observations of a mad man. Though he has some reasonable arguments for exploring, as he calls it; "Non-premo" areas, for other hominid species, the rest of his stuff is batshit crazy. Watch his "lectures", and you will have a fun afternoon. Here is a start for you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gU9z6z9HIM
To be fair, my father served in the Airforce underneath a Colonel who was friendly with him. This Colonel said specifically he had knowledge of certain things like missile guidance systems, stealth, etc. that were taken from alien technology. Apparently this tech was taken from various accidents (not Roswell BTW). But then again, as a math grad student, I know logic enough to admit its a friend-of-a-friend type of thing. The funny thing is, my dad is a realist and does not fall for crap. Hes the first to admit that it may be bullshit. I think the Colonel probably was having some fun with his subordinates.
There is, more likely than not, intelligent alien life out in the beyond-our-comprehension fucking massive universe. However, I seriously doubt they have visited Earth. More likely, UFO's are experimental aircraft from one of the world's governments, some anomaly such as ball-lightning, etc, or just a hoax.
Ive had alligator and ostrich, both were pretty good. Im not sure how close alligator is to croc. Ive also had elk, deer, moose, and bison, but neither are really a big deal where Im from up near Canada since its local. Id actually like to eat alligator more often, but its sort of a swamp-dweller food down here in the south US where I live now so you only get it at some Cajun restaurants. Ive always wanted to try snake. BTW I don't know how you guys eat Vegemite. Tried it once, never again. Cheers buddy.
To be fair, enough people get welfare or social security that don't deserve it that its a problem. My wife used to work next to a tattoo shop / skate shop. Come the day the state paid out welfare/SS checks, the tattoo shop and skate shop would get huge business where most of the people paid their whole check buying stuff or getting new tattoos. Part of the problem was they gave them debit cards that could be used anywhere.
Exactly why taxing corporations is stupid. Tax people, not corporations. Tax the rich more, tax the poor less and you get the benefits the OP said, but also get more corporations moving here (or staying here) since they are not taxed. Frankly, the rich deserve to be taxed more. It keeps a capitalist society balanced. Otherwise you will inevitably end up with a bunch of super-rich and a bunch of poor.
Capitalism will never fulfill that role. Its totally opposite human nature. Though the average American is richer than the average Somali, the disparity between a rich American and a average American is huge, so you have average people that can afford to eat and have a tv and car, but the rich can buy up all the property and other assets and charge people to use them (thus getting richer by taking more money from the average people), or excluding the peons from it all together (like what is happening at ski mountains and large lakes). One thing humans want is power (sure not all, but there are enough of them that its a problem). One way to do this is to get richer than everyone else. Greed and power-lust will always be the reason capitalism cannot do what you say. Im not saying I want communism, but it looks appealing when you see super rich people that have everything and you have 100,000 in student loan and credit card debts with no assets and nobody wants to hire entry level positions at a manageable wage anymore.
Look, the only reason I know the tricks is because of my rampant porn viewing. A strange link like that tends to lead to some download or infected image that maliciously affects your computer. Its easily removed often enough or avoided by not clicking "open", but you begin to filter links like that out from experience. Since most of / . users view porn as much or more often than I do, you should consider what I said as an attempt to help you be credibly heard. Any other view of what I said would be wrong.
Why dont you like academics? Most of them are pretty reasonable. Like anywhere, some of the most vocal ones are the worst and give the rest a bad name. You will meet many very humble academic types if you actually go to grad school and interact with some of the professors on that level.
That laptop apparently wont a bunch of awards. I own a HP dm3z ultraportable with the AMD Neo X2 and I couldn't be happier. Its got a aluminum chassis and long battery life for a 13 inch.
in precisely the manner that antinuclear folks said could and eventually would happen.
What could eventually happen is that a meteor will hit the earth and blot out the sun, rendering all the solar plants useless. What could happen, is that the earth will enter a new ice age, dramatically changing the paths of wind across the globe and render wind installations useless, what could happen.... Whatever. Everyone knows what could happen, inevitably pretty much everything someone said could happen WILL happen. Its a matter of risk. The risks of Nuclear power are way, way less than Coal, Hydroelectric, Oil, and Natural gas.
What happens if dust covers the earth from a meteorite impact or a massive volcano explosion? I still think we need diverse sources of power. Nuclear fits the bill quite well, as does wind and tidal.
HAHAHA
The paranormality I speak of I suppose is the bigfoot part. He also talks about ancient scriptures, the planet tiamat and nibiru. Etc.

Methinks succubi always DID anal probes. Its part of the whole convincing you to commit the sin of sodomy thing.

Your link looks awfully close to an attempt at trojan injection.
What about all the little Koalas!?
And naturally, its being recycled because of the "green" impact. However, its only 1 percent "green".

HP dmz1 I believe is basically a netbook. Uses the AMD Fusion processor.
Every manager! Off with their heads!
