    You should be very skeptical of any claim of someone having to take "evasive measures". We have seen time and time again government workers make stuff up which later proved to be false when the defendant produces video.

    Never Underestimate the drive of any government agency to expand its sphere of influence and control. Whether its the FAA wanting to control a park full of kids and their radio control toys or the IRS making up laws out of whole cloth, they never miss an opportunity to take more control.

    Seems to me that Law Enforcement Officers are increasingly the product of poor training and over zealous attitudes that can be summarized a "we are better than you and more important that you".

    Beating a Schizophrenic homeless man to death.
    Brutalizing a deaf man who can't respond to questions.
    Shooting unarmed people because they "thought" they had a gun.
    Simply saying and doing stupid things (you have no right to film, open carry, be "here" as opposed to 10 feet over "there".)
    Erasing dash cam tapes of just turning off video devices.
    Committing perjury.

    Should a Black Photographer be forced to take pictures at a wedding of two outspoken White Supremacists? At a Klan rally?

    Should a Jewish deli owner be forced to cater an openly anti-Semitic Muslim...or an avowed Nazi?

    Should a Muslim waiter be forced to server pork ribs? Or, Jewish for that matter. How about a vegan?

    You have to be careful with all this stuff about people being forced to provide services to others. Everyone can support the public accommodations thing when it's applied to race or religion. But when you start in on all these other things, you are opening a can of worms that you may not want to be opened. It cuts both ways.

    IDEs are to programming as anti-lock brakes and Traction Control is to driving, as fly-by-wire is to flying, as any assistive technology is to anything else.

    If they didn't exist, someone would write one because they are so useful.

    I don't know how he'd respond, but I found this.

    Lots more in the article. This was done after the prior study. No information about where to find the actual study. You guys can find it I'm sure.

    Most companies could not have been started without them and many require bankers to provide cash for capital investments, short term loans, etc. Banking is an integral part of business.

    Desalinization is being done on a industrial scale in Israel and is cost competitive with shipping/pumping water from out of state.

    There is a difference between selling water and actually getting the water to you. Are you saying it should be delivered to you for free?

    Just the other day a Chevy dealer showed up with a new Truck. He said, "This is yours now and we will seize $500 per month from your paycheck."

    But, he said it's for the greater good so I guess it's OK.
