You should be very skeptical of any claim of someone having to take "evasive measures". We have seen time and time again government workers make stuff up which later proved to be false when the defendant produces video.
Never Underestimate the drive of any government agency to expand its sphere of influence and control. Whether its the FAA wanting to control a park full of kids and their radio control toys or the IRS making up laws out of whole cloth, they never miss an opportunity to take more control.
Seems to me that Law Enforcement Officers are increasingly the product of poor training and over zealous attitudes that can be summarized a "we are better than you and more important that you".
Beating a Schizophrenic homeless man to death. Brutalizing a deaf man who can't respond to questions. Shooting unarmed people because they "thought" they had a gun. Simply saying and doing stupid things (you have no right to film, open carry, be "here" as opposed to 10 feet over "there".) Erasing dash cam tapes of just turning off video devices. Committing perjury.
Should a Black Photographer be forced to take pictures at a wedding of two outspoken White Supremacists? At a Klan rally?
Should a Jewish deli owner be forced to cater an openly anti-Semitic Muslim...or an avowed Nazi?
Should a Muslim waiter be forced to server pork ribs? Or, Jewish for that matter. How about a vegan?
You have to be careful with all this stuff about people being forced to provide services to others. Everyone can support the public accommodations thing when it's applied to race or religion. But when you start in on all these other things, you are opening a can of worms that you may not want to be opened. It cuts both ways.
IDEs are to programming as anti-lock brakes and Traction Control is to driving, as fly-by-wire is to flying, as any assistive technology is to anything else.
If they didn't exist, someone would write one because they are so useful.
Most companies could not have been started without them and many require bankers to provide cash for capital investments, short term loans, etc. Banking is an integral part of business.
Apple is at the mercy of the bean counters and the MBAs now. All that matters is to meet the next quarter's numbers. Vision, excellence, etc. are no where in the picture.
Lucas beat him to this conclusion.

Did you REALLY just cite Venezuela as some kind of utopia brought about by gun laws?
That's a special kind of stupid you got going there.
Thanks.
Were you using a particular book or diet plan?
Care to mention some foods you stayed with?

Religion is also a choice. Yet it is a pillar of civil rights.
Do you support Discrimination on a person's religion?
Many people have different definitions of what constitutes "flawed". Who and how do you decide who is flawed?
Religion is also a choice. It is also one of the pillars of civil rights.

Ya. I don't, but it seemed to just as ridiculous to say that as it is to say IDEs make for poor programmers.
Wash, Rinse, Repeat
If you don't program in assembler, you're a pussy!

I don't know how he'd respond, but I found this.
"... did not contaminate nearby drinking water wells..."
"These results reinforce our earlier work showing no evidence of brine contamination from shale gas exploration,"
Lots more in the article. This was done after the prior study. No information about where to find the actual study. You guys can find it I'm sure.

Desalinization is being done on a industrial scale in Israel and is cost competitive with shipping/pumping water from out of state.
So you want someone to go into business and provide you a service and you want to be able to set their profit level.
There is a difference between selling water and actually getting the water to you. Are you saying it should be delivered to you for free?
So you use separate software to compose (Finale, Sibelius) and take the midi from that and run it through a separate synthesizer to produce the sound?
If so, can you speak about to the products and process?
What would you consider to be the dream workstation for a composer?
Any specific sound cards or other equipment a "must have"?

The point is that private entities don't seize. You agreed to the arrangement.
Just the other day a Chevy dealer showed up with a new Truck. He said, "This is yours now and we will seize $500 per month from your paycheck."
But, he said it's for the greater good so I guess it's OK.
