    AMD is doing a custom rewrite of the core layout which should decrease power significantly. AMD's Ruiz at the PCExpo this week said AMD is including POWERNow technology on Mustang's die rather than via BIOS as currently on K6-2+ mobile processors. I believe current K6-2+ mobile manufactures are using only 4 of 32 available power levels. PowerNow is capable of adjusting speed according to application and peripheral requirements and not just Fast/Slow like Intel's SpeedStep. This way they can include larger speed ranges(K6-2:200-550 vs. P3:500-750) The question I have is if PowerNow will be included in ALL Mustangs. AMD's Eco-Warrior?
