I want to let you know that I am going to try to get the windows refund for a notebook that I will buy next week. It will probably be an Acer Extensa 500T but I have not yet decided. Any comments about how this particular model runs under Linux are appreciated.
I am currently living in Germany and my german is not very good, so some help by german-speaking people in translating e-mails/faxs/letters will be welcome. Also if you know some law in Germany that makes this easyer/harder please let me know.
If I succeed the money will be donated to the Free Software Foundation.
