As an iPhone user, am happy, but not ecstatic due to the lack of some basic apps. Note-taking, for one, is too limited using the built-in Notes program. That is why I created iQuickNotes (other similar apps exist), which has folders, search, and favorites tagging. Now this is one app I use daily and I can truly use my iPhone as an organizer.
There are tons of useful apps in the catalog - you just need to spend time to wade through them.
