My local library in Cornwall Ontario forbids e-mail and chat too, and the computers are configured to only run Netscape. They claim the ban on e-mail and chat is because the computers are for 'educational use only'. Funny, because two rows over they have books that border on pornographic....
My oldest computer is an IBM portable 8088 from the 1980's, no hard drive, two 3.5 disk drives. It's original keyboard is gone, but all other original parts are there, and working. Is that a 'vintage' computer?
I've done a little unofficial survey of the people I know, and the majority of them, 71% say that reverse engineering should be outlawed except for national security. I am pretty sure that my results don't show the real public opinion, but we must make sure that our right to reverse engineer is not taken away by people like that. How should we protect ourselves? any ideas?
I loved that game, beat it like 100+ times, and DW is kind of special to me, because it was the FIRST game I beat on my own, with no help.
