This is the fear based thinking that has lead to lack of development/appreciation of javascript over the years. Any useful technology has security issues, but you have to weigh them against the benefits. Javascripts holes are so minuscules that they do not even merit mentioning. Turning javascript on is more secure than surfing with Internet Explorer, so stop complaining about a non-problem.
