I would have to agree that it will be difficult to introduce a new standard that will replace the DVD format. However, I don't really believe that this FMD technology will even waste its time as a medium for movie and software storage. Instead, I think it will really be usefull as a component in smart cards and perhaps in portable hardrives. BTW: This company is traded under CFMD and is going for 27$ as of closing on Friday 11th.
