Now I question the reason why anything is leaked. politicos, media types, governmental employees, people with an axe to grind, liars, cheats, thieves, criminals defense lawyers, and people that just do not like some policy use "leaks" as a way of getting information, often un-vetted, or purposely false and vicious. out in the public eye.
Even the person(s) that ran wikileaks is not above doing this if it were to meet their personal agenda.
the only problem is that with out independently sourced truths, and I mean something that can be proved to be accurate, this fools words, pictures, and video is no more evidence of anything. Like the phony pictures and video from all over the internet, there is nothing to say this is not a fabrication. I for one need proof. Not his word, not your word. Proof. Until there is proof, this whole issue is moot. He may be a whistle-blower, he may also be a fake out to make a big splash and a political killing. Too many time in the recent past have these great expose' been nothing more than faked politically motivated BS. The fake but accurate( yeah, right) documents Dan Rather put out as the truth is but one example, the captured GI Joe, the fireproof, dirt proof doll from Gaza, the Bombs supposedly dropped by US planes that turned out to be Russian made artillery shells, complete with handling rings. I know that there are a lot of nerds that will be very upset over the exit of the old standby BIOS, but for one, having been involved since the beginning of PCs, can not wait for this antique architecture to be updated. See I said updated, not eliminated. The existing BIOS system has changed little in design and form in 25+ years of PC work.
Basically this goes to two points, one in favor of the police and one not.

She has undergone Treatment and came through in great shape, so well that after 2 years there is no sign of it coming back. Remission is a good thing. Now I do not know if you are aware of this, but most research work on this nasty problem occurs at only a handful of major research centers. They also do the vast majority of the final diagnostic work. Anyway, Several weeks ago she had to go into the office and have a blood draw for CBC and the like. At the time the Doctor asked if she was willing to allow the Mayo Clinic have some blood for testing to see if there is a genetic reason she did so well and other do poorly. She agreed. To make a short story even shorter there was a document that needed to be signed that stated exactly what test were to be done and that any additional testing would require authorization in writing. I asked why all the paperwork. The Dr. response, " it is the right thing to do, morally and legally" So this is how it works. They have no right to do any tests other than those that were authorized and a violation would be a breaking of a legally binding contract. And remember, that is what it is, a legally binding contract.

For example, I use cable as my ISP, At no time from the time send data until it is routed through the main Internet switch does this touch, common carrier or public owned equipment. All other publicly regulated utilities, gas, electric, phone, use a common carrier almost from the point of use to the source. That is a big difference. In reality, I am amazed that the court did not find some way to allow the FCC to regulate even if they had to trash the USC and all the laws of private property to do it.

The concept of an uncontrolled fall through 200+ miles of space and atmosphere to land on a moving ocean, in a target area bigger then most cities, and relying on parachutes that are outdated and, at best prone to fail a lot more than the heat tile system, is beyond short sighted and in the realm of incompetence on the part of the NASA leadership.
The funny thing is I was 15 at the time of the first Apollo Moon landing and have been waiting for 40 years for NASA to get its collective backside in gear and get back on track. The amazing thing is that they have the gall to call they 60's throwback a spacecraft. Back in the early days, the pilots had a name for vehicles like this; "SPAM IN A CAN". Why in the name of High Tech would NASA use capsule on a Rocket when every other space agency on earth, the Russian, the Chinese, the Japanese, the European Space agency, are all designing a winged or lifting body design for crew to orbit and back? Then Land, not on a runway or open flat lake bed, they are going back to dropping people from space, by parachute into a moving ocean, where they are lucky to hit a 30 mile wide target. Read your space history, more people have been killed in parachute returns to earth than in the shuttle losses. The Russians killed people regularly this way. This capsule is just another example of NASA small thinking.
