I have nothing personal against the man, but I could go a day without hearing or seeing a reference to what RMS thinks about something.
(And I do use Debian, but *horrified gasp* I just call it Linux, not GNU/Linux. Silly me, I didn't know that in the GPL was a clause that said if a majority of the code in your project was GNU not only do you have to release it under the GPL but you also have to call it GNU/<Project Name>)
A library does exactly what Napster\Gnutella etc do, or try to do...
Nice thought, but not exactly correct.
Napster/Gnutella allow people to pool their resources and all have the file at the same time.
A library on the other hand allows one person at a time to have access to the material, and then they have to return it to allow other people to use it.

I agree, and I don't run SuSE.
Sometimes it takes actions like this to get the message through to some people. Like corporations. =P
Good for SuSE.
Why should they stick around when SCO shoots itself in the foot?
If so it could be pretty amusing. Suck up a lot of bandwidth downloading porn and lose power to your house!
Talk about bandwidth limitations!
Or is Katz just trying to enlighten us all?

Yesterday upon the stair / I saw a man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today / Oh how I wish he'd go away.
The question is: Will Napster try to sue BNL for 'abuse' of their system?

Inquiring minds don't really care.
