Good thing I didn't pay for XP, vista, Or 7 (well, I paid for IEEE membership as part of my tuition... so I guess I did?).

Because I've taken the test and gotten the cert and in short, it is IT for beancounters. We tried it for a bit, but for every 5 minutes of work, we ended up spending 55 minutes writing up all the damned documentation. Hey at least when the entire network collapses, we can say we were busy following ITIL regulations and documenting our work before moving on to less important work.

There simply needs to be a balance - find out how much gold bored teens can grind in an hour and scale the price of gold to how much the average teen gets paid working part time. This prevents the vast majority from using their money buying gold, while allowing people who work real jobs and have real life commitments to enjoy the same experience. I.E. 200Gold/hour grinding should mean 200Gold at $10.

Well datacenters usually only have dozens of fibre bundles purchased in bulk... Don't get me wrong, I disagree with bandwidth caps, but at least Rogers also has a price cap - no more than $25 (Canadian too! That's like 5 cents!) usage fees. And the service is good enough that I don't have to deal with their terrible customer service. Better the devil I know...
