I don't think it would be that be big of a deal. I mean they only look for certain programs, everything else they just ignore. Also, they don't upload anything unless it is supicious. AOL on the other end will scan your hard drive upload porno and MP3s and post it on their secret sight to resell. Just in case you wondered I am typing this from my new Netscape 6, bugs and all.

I have seen it but I didn't think it was AS good. It had a really good plot and made me keeping changing my mind on who was evil. Also if you didn't like it just Blame Canada, because that is where it came from.
I thought when I first saw Episode 1 I would have sworn that it would win best costume (or at least one oscar). I think the Matrix deserved all the oscars it got, and I think it should have been a nominee for best picture. Oh well. Also, all the awards that American Beauty won makes me want to go out and watch the movie. Did you know that it took the screenplay person 50 rewrites of the script to get it right. True.
Who mourns for Q? I do, he was a great actor and it was sad to see him go. (car accident)
Is this a coincidence that it occurs on April 1st? It sounds like to me that this will be an joke. Computers become more intellectual spiritial than humans? Hopefully not in my life time. Oh well if it comes, it comes.
Daikatana is a game that was supposed to come out earlier and kick Quake 2s but. A switch from the unreal engine to the quake engine, and a couple of E3s later it is still in development.
Sounds like the game will be obsolete before they even have a screen shot. If this games takes much longer I think people might lose interest. This game's release date sounds a lot like Duke Nukem Forever (named after how long it takes for it to come out).
If you have a program with more than 68% errors on blocking sites I think that should be allowed. Also just blocking things on text like Super Bowl XXX is bad. I mean some sites might have that (Super Bowl XXX) and than again there may be some sites that have different names (whitehouse.com) that don't sound pornographic. This key word blocking is bad. If they block whitehouse you can't get to whitehouse.gov. Also in the school were I go, when I, or the guy I TA for, see someone missing using the school system (porn) via the proxy server we get on the case. We track them down as best we can using there IP address. I think trusting studeents is better than using this program.
If anyone has this can you tell me how it compares to ReplayTV. From what I can tell Tivo is more popular but I don't think ReplayTV needs a subscription, I could be wrong. If you have any information for me you can e-mail me here. Thanks, Andrew

With that kind of bandwidth you could get streaming media the quality of DVDs. Also you could trade other copyrighted material as fast as your hard drive can pump it out. I think the advantages (speed) outweigh the disadvantages (piracy). The speed could be an advantage though, imagine having movie rental stores online that streamed the movie to you.
It wasn't all that bad of a plot. I did notice the advertisements also, but tell me one movie that doesn't have advertisements these days. Some parts weren't that believable though. Even a very tiny hole in the space craft would make it decompress almost instantly. Over all I thought it was good.
PS What do you guys mean about the problems with momentum. When was that?
I agree that this is a dumb idea. People can just disable cookies like said earlier. Also people use cookies to improve there websites content for each person and to see which places need improvement. If I am not mistaken only the cookie that the site made itself would be sent to the server not all of them. This means that they only would now what they themselves posted. Over all cookies have more advantages than disadvantages.
This movie looks like it a girls movie. Leo running around without a shirt on and swimming and stuff like that. I wouldn't mind seeing it on rental though. I a mnot sure about the story plot but this movie will sell.

Actually in a recent issue of Popular Science they did a test on the brain and they did find evidence of brain cells regrowing.

ReplayTV has 20 hours of recording time, has low power mode, updates the software automatically, costs $499, and looks better to me.
