I agree but they still need to program some of the auto-driving cars to cut each other off and keep their right turn signal on for miles.

Very true, some of the most knowledgeable people at a company are its administrative assistants. They sit in on meetings and soak up the knowledge, and they need access to many different files (or servers as the case often is) so they can update files, or post notes. They are not often the highest paid either, so if someone offers them a lot of money to get some information, they just may crack.

This book reminded me of another good read, "Art of Deception" by Kevin D. Mitnick. You would be surprised how easy it is to get information from people.

The image of Apple is depicted perfectly in every one of Jobs' keynotes, down to the last little detail Steve makes sure everything is perfect.

  6. IPv6 Knowledge Essential for Gov't Work on Hot Tech Skills For 2006? · · Score: 0

A good working knowledge of IPv6 is what might determine if you get the job over someone else in the neat future. I know when I was in school IPv6 was touched on briefly, but brushed off as something that would "never catch on." Job seekers need an edge when seeking employment, your resume is just another piece of paper until management hits a buzzword they like.

The government has mandated that all systems shall either use or be compatible with IPv6 by the year 2008.

Converting/Updating some of the old legacy systems will not be a simple feat. If you are in the networking field expect to focus a lot of your time merging IPv4 networks into IPv6 infrastructure. If you are a programmer, focus on IPv6 compatibility, or you will be changing your code later.

In all due respect, abortions are going to happen weather anyone likes it or not. Why would you waste perfectly good cells that could some day lead to the cure to something that you or a loved one may one day suffer?

How much more evidence does the president need before he lifts his restrictions on stem-cell research?

This is a major breakthrough, and it is only the tip of the iceberg. The cure for cancer, AIDS, and other genetic diseases could be closer than we think if more laboratories were able to conduct research using stem cells.

I can see it now... The flight attendants are coming down the rows passing out shot glasses full of soda to the passengers. One of them runs out of ginger ale and reaches for another can bumping the "hijack notification button." Your flight to LA now lands in Iowa, and you are stuck there while the TSA inspects your plane for the next two hours. You arrive in LA four hours late, only to find out your baggage has been left in Iowa.
