what's not to get? You can get music from the zune marketplace just like you can in iTunes. From the best I can tell (don't own a mac) you can connect the zune to the mac with little to no effort.
The Zune syncs to a different piece of software than WMP. From what I have seen, I like the interface better than iTunes, but I still think it is ridiculous for MS to have two media applications. I was really hoping that WMP would go away and let the more refined zune software to take over. oh well.
you forgot the part about telling Joe that none of his old programs or games will work anymore. Now he is going to have to search out FOSS apps that may or may not be complete. Don't even start on the "it will run under Wine" argument because who is going to set that up for him? For that matter, who is going to tell him about it in the first place?
to say that I will take one for the team and volunteer to map Hawaii. Although it may take two weeks.

I know. It was a joke. Ya know funny ha ha?
It's becoming obvious the number of cores is going to far outweigh the number of applications we'll be running five years from now
The number of cores (at least some chips) already outweighs the applications you can run if you run Winows 7.

My wife has XP loaded on her netbook and there is no way I will load Win7 on it. She complains enough now about it being slower than my laptop.
