If now suddenly the EU starts to meddle with the way we do business, this money may vanish and we lose a lucrative and easy part of our yearly income.
And don't forget overview papers. If your career is really down you should write one of those. If it's good enough it will be cited a lot for years to come.

You can even argue that 'perfectly adapted' means they don't have to reproduce because having to reproduce means that you die, and that means that the environment in which you live is not good for you. So 'perfectly adapted' is incorrect on many levels.

My non-existing god, she must feel horrible. Normal cancer treatment isn't nice to begin with and then this virus on top of that. I wish her strength.
